Chinese New Year Festival in Tijuana 2025
With the aim of honoring the importance of the Chinese community in the history and culture of Baja California, the Ministry of Culture headed by Alma Delia Ábrego Ceballos, presents the artistic programming of the Chinese New Year Festival 2025, which will be dedicated to the Wooden Snake. The program includes parades, workshops, exhibitions, plays, visual shows and talks. Among the most anticipated events is the Chinese Parade, which will feature the participation of more than 100 artists on stage, led by Maestro Tabanico, and three unique choreographies that will pay tribute to this rich culture. It will take place next Saturday, February 8, the activities will take place in the Historic Center of the city, located on Avenida Revolución, where people will be able to enjoy gastronomic samples, parades and artistic programming. Likewise, the State Center for the Arts (CEART) Tijuana will be the scene of a special concert by the Baja California Orchestra (OBC). The invitation is open for citizens and visitors to enjoy this unique experience that combines tradition and modernity. The Ministry of Culture reiterates its commitment to promote events that enrich cultural diversity and strengthen community ties.
