The MXMF, now called CACIQUE METAL FEST, is one of the most important metal festivals in Latin America, characterized by bringing together legendary bands and offering a unique experience for lovers of the genre. Since its inception in 2016 to its most recent edition held in 2024, the festival has shown a remarkable evolution in terms of artistic presence, attendance and international relevance.

Currently positioned as the metal festival par excellence in Mexico and, according to specialized critics, considered the most extreme festival in Latin America, year after year it receives thousands of attendees from various countries of the American and European continents, reaffirming itself as the annual meeting par excellence of lovers of extreme music.

On October 18 at Parque Ferrocarrilero in Monterrey, the Sultana del Norte will reverberate with the heaviest riffs and the fury of a horde thirsty for metal in all its forms, where artists such as Blood Fire Death, Thy Catafalque, Grave, Yoth Iria, Cryptosis and more to be announced, will parade on the already classic twin stages, as well as on the favorite of many, the Trve Stage.
