The Amalia Hernández Folkloric Ballet of Mexico returns to one of its main venues throughout its history: the Esperanza Iris City Theater, under the general direction of Salvador López López and the artistic direction of Viviana Basanta Hernández with a special program that includes Old sounds from Michoacán, one of the most representative works of Amalia Hernández. 70 years ago, Amalia Hernández, with the Modern Ballet of Mexico, presented at the Palace of Fine Arts a work that would completely transform Mexican dance Sones Antiguos de Michoacán with which she inaugurated her creative work, it was her first experiment, in which he combined modern and classical dance techniques to adapt them to folk dance. The Amalia Hernández Folkloric Ballet of Mexico will present a special program that celebrates what is Mexican through its dances, its sounds and its color on a journey through time and the different regions of the country.
