Synopsis: Who was Marcos Cipac? Yo Marcos is a work that aims to rescue the memory of this character who, according to some historians, would be the author of the image of Tonantzin Guadalupe. An actor conducts an investigation in search of the identity of this painter and the image attributed to him. This is the story of the most recognized, reproduced and admired image in art, told from the eyes of the one whose right to be named was taken away by history. Interspersing fiction with research, this actor is determined to reveal his character and, along the way, he will discover something more relevant that only art is capable of providing: the encounter with one's own identity. This work was nominated for the Metro Awards for Best One-Man Show in 2024.
