Synopsis:

During the economic boom of the 1960s, the tallest building in Europe is built in northern Italy. At the other end of the country, in the Calabria region, a group of young cavers are exploring the 700 meters underground of the Abyss of Bifurto, the deepest cave in Europe. The adventure of these intruders goes unnoticed by the inhabitants of the neighboring town, but not by an old shepherd whose lonely life begins to intertwine with that of the group. With impressive images that almost border on the mystical, this film is the chronicle of two parallel journeys into the ins and outs of nature from a sensory and silent narrative that appeals to trace the invisible of life.
