Description

Synopsis: At the end of the 17th century, with a plague ravaging the land, the nun Benedetta finds herself involved in a forbidden lesbian romance with a novice. Benedetta, who based on her religious visions claims to be sent by Jesus Christ, will have a transcendental impact on the church that will be immediate and will shake it to its very foundations.
