Information
Description
Djiby Diabate Africa jazz is a musical proposal that tells stories of life in Africa and the world, using a traditional instrument of the Mandingo culture such as the balafon, which is generally diatonic. Djiby takes it to the evolution by building a chromatic balafon and being able to express together with other musicians the musical concept of Africa jazz with a great harmonic, melodic and rhythmic complexity but at the same time with a freshness for all types of audiences since we have a common root, the African root brought to America by African slaves.
Djiby Diabate is the door that connects the roots of humanity with music and the joy of rhythm.
