Cancun Theater Cancun, Quintana Roo.
Susana Alexander's farewell season.
A tree, a son, an octogenarian woman. A love story.
Dear audience:
Last year I turned 80 and decided that I wanted to do a significant work with which I would say goodbye to the theater, leaving something memorable in the hearts of the public.
I say goodbye to the theater seasons with a play that seemed written for me, so that I could lend my voice to so many older people whose children, with the best will, believe that they are doing the right thing by taking their parents to a house of rest or residence, as they are now called.
Alejandra and Carlos are two endearing characters who will make you laugh and be moved through this journey of love that unites them and that does not leave the viewer indifferent and with no other alternative than to immediately identify with one of them.
I take you by the hand and invite you on this journey through love and beauty.
And as I always say: Thank you for the miracle of your presence.
Sincerely,
SUSAN ALEXANDER
